Eric J. Reisman is the Senior Associate in our office. He is actively involved in all litigation matters that our office handles from pre-suit negotiations through trial and post-judgment discovery.  In addition, Mr. Reisman plays an integral role in a majority of the transactions that our firm is involved in, including transactions related to real estate, leasing, commercial landlord-tenant matters, acquisitions and sales of residential and commercial properties, acquisitions and sales of yachts and other seafaring vessels, refinancing, and corporate and business transactions.  Mr. Reisman also serves as general counsel to a variety of local businesses and corporations.

During the summer after his first year of law school, Mr. Reisman was awarded a Public Interest Fellowship from the Center for Ethics and Public Service, working for the Dade County Bar Association’s Legal Aid Society. During his second and third years of law school, Mr. Reisman worked for an intellectual property law firm, specializing in trademark infringement and internet law within the anti-counterfeiting industry.  While in law school, Mr. Reisman also spent his second year as an intern and teacher for the University of Miami School of Law’s Street Law program. He continued working in the Street Law program during his third year of law school and was awarded the Peter R. Palermo Street Law Fellowship.  After graduating from law school, Mr. Reisman spent over three years working for a large civil litigation law firm practicing general civil litigation with a focus on commercial litigation, medical malpractice defense, products liability and premises liability matters.
